Public awareness campaigns have been launched in the City and County to ensure people in Nottingham know what to do if they are worried about an adult being harmed, abused or neglected.

Everyone has the right to live their life free from violence, fear and abuse. This campaign is helping to make sure that all vulnerable adults can be protected from harm or exploitation.

Some adults are less able to protect themselves because they have a physical or mental impairment; are frail due to age or illness; or have issues with their mental health.

Abuse can be physical, sexual, financial, emotional, neglect or discrimination and could take place at home, in a residential or nursing home, in a hospital, at college or in a public place.

If you need help or advice, or you are worried about someone, call 0115 883 8460 (City) or 08449 80 80 80 (County) today. For more information visit: www.mynottingham.gov.uk/adultsafeguarding
