Our recent performance
At the end of each quarter the Performance Unit at the National Offender Management Service (NOMS) produces a Probation Trust Rating System (PTRS). The four main categories the PTRS monitor are:
· Reduce Reoffending
· Sentence Delivery
· Public Protection
· Value for Money (under development)
It then calculates these categories into performance bands separately and gives each Probation Trust an overall achievement banding as follows:
Outstanding performance * Four star
Good performance Three star
Passable performance Two star
Poor performance One star
Nottinghamshire Probation Trust performance
The 2010/2011 PTRS showed that Nottinghamshire achieved three star rating which is a proud achievement for the Trust. It has now achieved 3-star for the past 3 years.
