 Programmes

 A Programme will normally be combined with a Supervision Requirement to provide additional support.

These are nationally accredited programmes designed to address the attitudes and patterns of behaviour that contribute to offending. The programmes can be delivered individually or within groupwork situations they fall into five categories:

  • General offending
  • Violence
  • Sex offending
  • Substance misuse
  • Domestic violence

The programmes offered within Nottinghamshire are:

  • Think First
    - teaches problem-solving skills and how to apply these skills to offending behaviour
  • Community Sex Offender Groupwork Programme
    - to reduce offending by adult male sex offenders
  • Drink Impaired Drivers
    - to reduce the risk of future drink-related driving offences
  • Integrated Domestic Abuse Programme (IDAP)
    - the programme includes work with known victims and inter-agency risk management
  • Offender Substance Abuse Programme
    - to raise awareness of the link between drug and/or alcohol misuse and offending.
    - to provide offenders with the skills to enable them to reduce or stop substance misuse, to reduce reoffending
  • Cognitive Skills Booster
